Seven Hills Hotel and Spa will entail the construction of a luxurious and stylish 100 bedroom four star hotel, which will target the upper end of the tourism industry.
The hotel will be based on a thirty five acre site at Greenpark Road, Rostrevor, County Down and will include a state of the art spa facility, leisure and conference facilities. The location of the hotel will be an important marketing tool, in that it is in a rural location, close to the Mourne Mountains and yet only ten miles from the City of Newry.
This will facilitate the branding of the hotel, together with its spa and leisure facilities as an ideal location to unwind in luxurious surroundings.
The proposed project entails the development of a major multipurpose luxury resort destination at Greenpark Road, Rostrevor, County Down.
The specification provided by the project promoter is as follows:
• One hundred ensuite bedrooms within the four star hotel;
• Two function rooms;
• Two lounge / bar;
• One restaurant;
• A top quality spa centre including a variety of treatment rooms, pool, spa heat experience ‘PODS’ (including sauna, steam room, etc) and spa relaxation room, in addition to the fitness suite, incorporating a fully equipped gym; and
• A range of outdoor pursuits in the locality, including links with NITB’s Signature Programme for the Mournes and the Christian Heritage Programme for Armagh and Down.
The hotel will be based on a thirty five acre site and will be complimented by extensive gardens with woodland and ornamental planting areas.
The hotel’s ensuite bedrooms will be designed to capture a home from home ambience and will have a wide range of amenities, all of these rooms being decorated with high quality, stylish furniture and offering plush towelling robes and toiletries for the comfort and convenience of its guests.
The hotel’s conferencing facility will offer inclusive twenty four hour and day delegation packages as well as services which can be readily adapted to meet specific requirements in terms of incorporating golf, spa and outdoor activities as part of the package.
All conference and meeting rooms will be air conditioned and accommodate up to 300 delegates for a theatre style conference or 200 for banqueting style.
The smaller meeting rooms can accommodate up to forty delegates. The conference facilities will be equipped with advanced presentation equipment and high speed wireless internet (WI-FI).
There will also be ample complimentary parking to accommodate conferences of any size.
