Open plan with double bed, living space includes sofa bed, gas stove, compact dining table and chairs, kitchenette, and shower room. The kitchenette is small but functional with a refrigerator, countertop oven, portable ceramic hob, sink, toaster, kettle and crockery etc. Although the accommodation ideally suits 2 guests there is also a sofa double bed.

It’s a great base for walkers, cyclists, canoeing, kayaking or a relaxing stay to enjoy Strangford Lough and surrounding areas. It’s close to Castle Ward estate (Game of Thrones and Winterfell tours), Kilclief Castle, Ballyhornan beach, grey seals on Seal Island or bird watching at Cloghy Rocks Natural Nature Reserve both across from the cabin.

Strangford village has local shops, pubs, restaurants, and ferry terminal across to Portaferry.
