Scion Hill Gate Lodge is situated at the top of a long tree lined avenue leading to the Gentleman’s Residence, Scion Hill. Built in 1840 for George Waugh a JP it served as a Porters Lodge for the main house. It is a listed building.

The accommodation is all on one level so there are no steps or trip hazards to negotiate.

There are two large double bedrooms, one with an en-suite wet room/bathroom and the other with its own bathroom across the hallway. All bedding and towels are supplied.

There is a spacious entrance hall where you will find a selection of games and books for your enjoyment.

The kitchen and utility room are well furnished with all mod cons. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, oven, hob, and microwave.

The cosy living room has comfortable sofas for you to curl up on. There is a wood burning stove, should you require a fire. All fuel can be delivered to you as required.

Outsides the views from the front of the Gate Lodge are spectacular. There are many local golf courses and places to fish. In addition, the Gate Lodge is handy for all the major shopping towns. There are also many opportunities for Hillwalking on your doorstep including of course the Dromara and Mourne Mountains.

The Gate Lodge has a private entrance and parking to one side.
