Our quaint old 18th Century Gate Lodge on the east coast of Co Down overlooks the Mourne Mountains. It is in a lovely rural setting ideal for walking, fishing, and golfing.

The house is surrounded by a flower-filled cottage garden, featured on a BBC gardening programme.

We have one large bedroom with a double bed and adjoining bathroom, the folding bed could be added. French doors lead into a little cobbled courtyard

I love cooking so will really enjoy providing an exciting breakfast with homemade wheaten bread, pancakes, potato bread, jams, and marmalade. We also provide free-range eggs and stewed fruit from our own garden, and a variety of other homegrown produce.

We have free WiFi and television in the bedroom.

We are really looking forward to welcoming people from many places (French is spoken) and we hope they leave with many happy memories.
