Your mountain guide Peter Rafferty is a qualified Mountain Leader and member of the Mountain Training Association. The Mountain Leader Award allows the holder to lead people on any mountain in the UK and Ireland.

Peter offer tours which cover different areas and themes, such as the Blue Lough Tour and the Silent Valley Tour but tours can also be tailored to the client’s needs or wishes. Peter has a keen interest in the stone industry of The Mournes and during my tours provide a demonstration of how the stone masons cut the granite using hand tools which people find very interesting and enjoyable.
