Cranfield Alpacas

Peter and Pamela Houston, look forward to welcoming you, when you come and introducing you to their gorgeous gentle Alpacas, where the “Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea”, just outside Kilkeel, Co Down.

You will get up close to these gentle, enchanting creatures, learn about their names, personalities, enjoy the stunning panoramic landscapes, and tales about the rich heritage of this undiscovered corner of the island of Ireland. Alpacas originate from South America, where their soft fleeces were worth more than gold.  Now, you can trek them along quiet country lanes and the golden shores of Carlingford Lough and the Irish Sea.
