Tollymore and Castlewellan Forest Parks are only 10 mins away with lots of activities nearby. Walking, hiking, horse riding, swimming, cycling, rock climbing and so much more.

Hare’s Gap Bistro
Our on-site Hare’s Gap Bistro is open all year round on Saturdays and Sundays from 8.30am to 6pm. Also open on weekdays from April through to September.

We serve a range of items from tea/coffee, scones, tray bakes, through to soup, sandwiches, cooked breakfasts, burgers, and chips and can cater for groups of up to 30 people.

Accommodation
Meelmore Lodge Hostel
We have both private en-suite rooms and dormitory rooms available. Bed linen and towels provided in every room.

The hostel has a fully-fitted self-catering kitchen or if you don’t fancy cooking, our on-site Bistro can provide you with breakfast and lunch.

We can accommodate up to 28 people in our hostel and specialise in group bookings with discounts available.

The Wee House
We also have our self-catering cottage, ‘The Wee House’, which can sleep 2 adults and 2 children.

Campsite
Our campsite is available during the summer months to individuals, families, and organised youth groups. Discounts are available for Duke of Edinburgh participants.
